About US
The 2024 Parliamentary Elections hold exceptional significance for our country. There is a consensus that October 26 and the period leading up to it will determine the vector of Georgia's future development. On election day, voters must choose between the European Union and Russia. Under these circumstances, conducting a robust pro-EU campaign and election observation becomes critically essential, serving not only an evaluative role but also, crucially, a preventive one against potential violations.
In this context, it is the duty of civil society representatives to respond to these challenges, adopt a proactive stance, and utilize all available means to ensure that Georgia continues its European integration and to protect the votes of Georgian citizens.
To this end, we propose:
• Initiating/joining the campaign "My Vote to the European Union";
• Observing the October 26, 2024, elections at all polling stations (observation mission - My Vote) in a coalition.
The idea entails:
1. Conducting a unified campaign - "My Vote to the European Union" - prior to the elections, aimed at informing Georgian citizens about the 2024 elections as a kind of referendum (between Russia and the EU), familiarizing them with the benefits of the EU, and mobilizing pro-Western voters. The campaign includes preparing and disseminating media products and using other forms of public communication, including door-to-door outreach.
2. Organizing a large-scale observation mission under the coalition umbrella - "My Vote", which includes a voter information campaign in the pre-election period, joint observation of the pre-election period and election day, protection of votes, collaboration with international and local partners on electoral issues, and keeping them informed about electoral matters.
Observing election day and pre-election period is the mission's primary objective. The observation mission should cover all polling stations opened both in Georgia and abroad, whether using electronic technologies or traditional methods (approximately 3,030 polling stations).
