My Vote

The European choice of the Georgian people must be solidified in the October 2024 elections. To protect votes at every polling station on Election Day, Georgian civil society is preparing a large-scale, civic observation mission—"My Vote"—which will be carried out with the involvement of active volunteer citizens. For its scale this observation mission is unprecedented in Georgia's history as it involves mobilizing competent well-trained observers at every polling station.

Vision and Objective of the observation mission
The vision of the observation mission encompasses monitoring and protecting electoral rights guaranteed by the Constitution of Georgia, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights, the European Convention on Human Rights, and other national and International instruments. The ultimate goal of the "My Vote" mission is to ensure a free, fair, and transparent electoral process during Georgia's 2024 parliamentary elections, both within the country and in polling stations abroad.
Mission, Goals and Implementation of the Observation Mission.

The electoral observation mission will monitor all 3,030 polling stations in Georgia, as well as those located in Georgian embassies and consulates abroad. The mission will observe pre-election period, polling, and post-election activities and will prepare and publish relevant reports.

The mission will be implemented by over 30 Georgian civil society organizations, which will select observers, provide them with comprehensive training, and deploy them to the designated locations nationwide.
The mission's objectives cover the entire electoral cycle, including the monitoring and analysis of the pre-election and electoral environment, the voting and vote-counting process, as well as complaints and appeals submitted to electoral administrations and courts.

Values and Core Principles of the Observation Mission
• Objectivity and Impartiality: adequately selected and trained competent observers will perform their duties impartially and ethically, in line with international best practices standards.
• Transparency and Accountability: the observation methodology, the selection of observers, the training process, and the findings and conclusions of the monitoring are all subject to public disclosure.
• Collaboration and Collegiality: The observation mission will closely cooperate with all stakeholders involved in the elections, including the electoral administration, civil society organizations, other observation missions, media outlets, and international organizations.
• Non-Partisanship: The observation mission and all its members are completely free from political or party interests and influences. None of the mission's members are affiliated with, activists for, or employees of any political part.
